Surface treatment, colour samples  What is a thick lazure?
Wood is a natural, organic material people have always favoured. It must be protected from natural usage, acid rains and UV-radiation. Surface treatment also changes the appearance and can transform ideas into aesthetics. The primary aim of surface treatment is emphasising the natural beauty of wooden materials and the creation of the customer’s idea of shapes, colours and style.
After lazure treatment the networks and patterns in wood are visible. We treat our products with water-based, thick lazure, this surface treatment is put on the surface in four layers. Colours can be chosen from a colour palette, which contains 21 different shades. If this selection is not satisfactory, custom made colours are available.
The custom colour is shown on a sample, and after accepting, the preliminary phase of production is ready to start.  (colours are closest to their real shades, if gamma level on the monitor is minimal, with brightness at 60% and contrast at 50%)
